Characteristics

 They come in every colour

 Whenever they move, they pixelate and will do so even when standing still though they will pixelate significantly less if they are not moving, a Pegasus Pixlexian’s lower body will appear as a shower of pixels when they fly

 They all have a band which glows on their body this band will dull if they become sick and stops glowing when they die

 They live within an cyber-electric world and each Pixlexian is tied to a different device, this device may be anything so long as it contains electricity

 They can spend time outside of their world, using their devices as a link to do something called Projection, this is when they project themselves into the non-cyber-electronic world, while outside of their world they are given limited mobility as a faint trail of pixels will always connect them to their device, these pixels come from their own body and therefore they cannot go too far from their devices without dissipating and being forced to return to their world. Projection is difficult and most Pixlexians can perform it for only a short amount of time before tiring and being forced to return, the stronger the pixlexian, the longer they can stay, one may also build up a strength with projection

 If a Pixlexian’s device is broken or dies, they may no longer connect to the outside world

 They may have a cutie mark, but it is not necessary, if they do have a cutie mark it is related to their own device

 Pixlexians will mate for life, it is rare for a corrupted Pixlexian to mate with a non-corrupted Pixlexian but it does happen, their children are almost always halflings- a combination of the two, and are either mostly corrupted but tamed by their non-corruption or are non-corrupted but are more wild and dangerous due to their corruption. A halfling’s eyes and glow bands may act either like a non-corrupted or as a corrupted Pixlexian’s bands and eyes

Corruption

 Very rarely, a Pixlexian will corrupt, in even rarer cases a Pixlexian may be born corrupt.

 Corrupted Pixlexians are referred to as a ViRuS or merely as a Corrupted One

 Enjoy causing mayhem and love to cause destruction, ViRuS will attack servers which help run towns smoothly and if they are strong enough will hack into the devices of other Pixlexians and corrupt their device to the point of disrepair therefore disconnecting the victim from the outside world and weakening them greatly even causing some to die
 Unlike a non-corrupted Pixlexian, ViRuS’ glow bands take in the light around them rather than emit light, and have a black or dark sclera while their eyes also take in light
